Abstract

A mathematical model of the viscous fluid flow (lymph) in a cylindrical lymphatic vessel with elastic walls is considered. Transcapillary exchange is described by Starling's law. The dependence of the average diameter of the lymphatic vessels located near the tumor is studied in dependence on the lymph viscosity, the vessel walls permeability, the amount of the fluid which arise in the considered domain at various stages of breast cancer.
